Our mission is to give local artists a chance to shine by giving them a platform where they can present their art to enthusiasts from all over the world. First, let’s tell you a bit about Arte Urbano and its story – cool ideas always come with great stories to tell. The idea for Arte Urbano is closely linked to Colombia, where Alex, one of the founders of this platform, has lived since 2018. He decided to settle in the city of Medellin, which hosts a wide variety of high quality pieces of street art. With the visit to Colombia alongside his highschool friend Joost, creative brainstorming for Arte Urbano began. Cultural exchange and getting to know these places is one of Joost's strongest passions – this was the spark that gave life to Arte Urbano as we know it today.
Selling your artwork is easy! You just need to follow these steps: 1. Fill out the artist registration form below, to be reviewed by our team. 2. If accepted, you will receive an approval email within 2-5 working days. 3. Once approved, we request that you send your art digitally through (insert submission method). Ensure that your work’s quality is at least 150 DPI and is either a scanned copy or a photo taken directly in front of the art piece. 4. Sign the artist licensing agreement and we can start selling your work on Arte-Urbano.com! Pretty easy, right? You don't need to be a digital expert to start making money on our platform, doing what you love most – your art. Additionally, you only sell the reproduction rights of your artwork, but this doesn’t affect its copyright. You still own your art! For each piece you sell, you earn a certain percentage as commission. The more you sell, the better the commission.
• Between 1-15 sales per year > 12% commission
• Between 16-50 sales per year > 14% commission
• From 51 sales per year > 16% commission
